Seniors’ Art Day Out

A special day at the museum only for seniors! Enjoy an hour-and-a-half guided tour, where you can admire the most important works of the Art Safari Women edition and learn remarkable stories about art and artists.
Join our guides and explore the new exhibitions: Marie of Romania, Queen and Artist; Cecilia Cuțescu-Storck. The First Female Art Professor in Europe; Breasts; Young Blood 3.0, Sibylle Bergemann, the German fashion and culture photographer, and more.
It’s the perfect opportunity to socialise over coffee or tea, in the company of art.

The programme of the event:

🤗10:30-11:00 – access and setting up the visiting groups
🖼️11:00-12:30 – the guided tour
☕12:30-13:00 – coffee/tea and the well-deserved relaxation

Important details:

Punctuality: Our guides are punctual. If you arrive after 11:00, you may miss valuable information about the works in the exhibitions.
Selection of works: The guides will selectively present the most important works out of the over 700 on display.
Breadth of space: The exhibition space is very large and includes many stairs (there is no elevator). Get ready for an experience that will stimulate you not just intellectually… but also physically.
Preservation conditions: A dark and cool atmosphere is maintained in the exhibition galleries, in line with art conservation standards.
