Tessera
Sept. 6 - 15
With the assumed intention of enhancing the transfer characteristics through which the works impact the viewer in the black cube exhibition space, Karmen Golumbeanu constructs an ingenious visual system, marked by strong lines and colors. Form after form, chained together, the compositions seek solutions to infiltrate a persistent light into the oppressive darkness. The artist spontaneously generates this organic process, through her own creative and resourceful switch, without sparing the retina in the process of adaptation. Each piece of this visual construction explores through line, texture, volume and symbol a facet of the same dice, creating a captivating atmosphere through the intensity of light and provoking an irreversible process of introspection. Alea iacta est.
